Fujairah GIS Center organized GIS Awareness Day for more than 22 governmental, semi-governmental and federal, and private Authorities since this initiative supports the strategic plan of the center by educating the authorities about the importance of geospatial data in digitization and transformation into smart cities, as well as reviewing the best global geospatial practices. The center working to make a comprehensive plan for the geographic information systems path for the Emirate of Fujairah, in cooperation with the participating parties.
